In case you are not my friend on Facebook, and want to follow our trip, here is the link to our blog which we will do our best to keep up and add lots of photos.
She'll Be Apples
Twin Peaks - friday, april 03, 2009 - 17:47
I finally watched this thing and it was a total disappointment! I liked a few things and some episodes were entertaining, but I think it proves that point that some people should just make movies.
Back-up Guy - thursday, september 18, 2008 - 09:08
I agreed to meet a former colleague for drinks, thinking we were going to dish dirt on my former co-workers. Instead he got a little tipsy and told me how he has had a crush on me since he first saw me. He proceeded to non-stop talk about how great I am and how he would be waiting in case anything ever happened with my fiance. The topper was when he said, "I could get lost in your eyes."
Watch out David. I have a fan.
Highlight of the Trip - sunday, july 20, 2008 - 10:33
David discovered that Weird Al was playing a show at the Chesaning Showboat during our stay in the mitten state. So of course we decided to go. Not only was it the most entertaining show I have been to, it was also the most exciting. While Weird, that's what his friends call him, was making his way up the aisle, doing his best Tom Jones, he stopped at me, yes me. He looked me in eye and sang, "your eyes are even bluer than the water in my toilet." Then he took my hand and sang, "has anyone ever told you, you've got Yugoslavian hands?" And then he got up on the bench space right next to me and started singing and gyrating to the woman behind us. It was AMAZING.
Search Me! - wednesday, july 09, 2008 - 18:44
The keen sense of the Canadian border patrol flagged me as a drug smuggler. Good thing I hid it extra good this time.
Back the Fuck Up! - tuesday, july 01, 2008 - 17:47
This is just a note to myself to remind myself that backing up is very important. Especially when your livelihood comes from your ability to access information on your computer, because someday your hard drive may decide that it has had enough and would like to be sent back to that big Apple factory in the sky.
Keep Ringing - thursday, may 08, 2008 - 14:14
Every time the phone rings today something awesome happens!
Ring Ring...Hi remember me, client from 3 years ago, I want to hire you again.
Ring Ring...Hi our mutual friend said you were looking for a job, do you want to come in for an interview?
Ring Ring...Hi I have a million dollar check here for you.
Ok so that last wasn't hasn't happened...yet.
Model Citizen - tuesday, april 29, 2008 - 12:49
I have now rescued two escaped dogs in the last 6 days. Both adorable, but clearly they don't know what to do once they get out!
Tom's Diner - friday, april 25, 2008 - 09:38
Yesterday, while in the shower, Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega came on the radio. I hadn't heard that song since 1990 and was astonished to realize that I still know every word. Yet somehow I can't remember my last address.

As Requested - wednesday, january 09, 2008 - 18:25
Panama Photos are up.
For optimum viewing, it is recommended that you listen to Van Halen's Panama, while viewing the Slide show.
Vacation Bonuses - tuesday, january 01, 2008 - 13:06
While the trip alone was enough to make me smile ear to ear an added bonus was that David and I got engaged on a beach on a small island at night outside the Villa Romantico. It sounds very planned but was in fact very spontaneous and very lovely. It was also a double added bonus to come back to a great party and see all my friends drunk and squealing, thanks guys! It was an awesome party I don't think I stopped smiling until I woke up.
Panama! - wednesday, december 26, 2007 - 11:39
Not the song but the country. For those wondering, we are here, it is hot, and it is great. We left Panama City today aboard the smallest plane you could fit 10 passengers into and arrived at Isla Contadro. A tiny island with no cars, only golf carts. We plan to laize about drinking drinks that come with umbrellas and taking dips on the ocean.
What do I have to do to get you into this car today? - tuesday, november 27, 2007 - 19:46
As we walked onto the lot we saw a guy filming a used car add in the traditional style of "guy yelling very fast unintelligible words"; at that point we should have run for it. Instead I test drove a slightly used Matrix and proceeded to be manipulated more than I ever thought possible. They left me and my friend sitting at the table while they went and "worked the numbers" they kept asking,"what is the problem?" when I seemed hesitent, when I said I wanted to "sleep on it" they insisted that I wouldn't be able to get the same deal tomorrow.
Luckily I escaped unscathed and without monthly payments I couldn't afford. I am worn but wiser.
Christmas in Panama - wednesday, october 31, 2007 - 07:49
Or to be more exact Christmas it will be in an El Salvadorian airport, but the rest of the time will be in Panama City and isles yet to be determined.
Farewell shitty neighborhood, - thursday, september 20, 2007 - 10:24
I didn't think you were so shitty in the beginning, but your crack houses and frequent car break ins are really souring me on the whole experience.
I will miss my proximity to the library and certain eating establishments, however, I don't think that is enough for me to be shedding any tears.
More New Things - tuesday, september 11, 2007 - 17:03
We have a new apartment to move into October 1st!
In a whirlwind of open houses on Sunday, David and must have looked at somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 apartments, we applied for our fav and got the call the very next day!
It is an adorable one bedroom, with a spectacular view, off of Park Street in between the Parkway and 580.
We are so excited!
New Job! - monday, august 06, 2007 - 15:11
I got it! I am now working half the time for double the pay. But realistically I won't start actually being part time for a few weeks while I wrap things up in the current job, but WOOT! Kissing ass has finally paid off.
