I've been avoiding this all week.
But it's probably time.
I know a lot of you have gone to the Missouri and some of you have spent a great deal of time there. Which means all of you have probably met Jumoke and even talked to him some.
Jumoke killed himself on Wednesday.
There will be a funeral this Wednesday (11/15) at the Whitted Williams Funeral home in Oakland. from 1-5pm. there will be an open casket from 1-3pm.
Afterward, there will be a reception at Dona Tomas from 6-9pm, in which you are invited to share stories and show your love for this man.
I've never met anyone like Jumoke and I'm pretty sure i won't ever. He always had your back. He's seen me at my worst and picked me up. He was a big brother to me. He gave the bast back rubs. I always wanted him to carry me under his arm. He also told the best stories.
He is missed and is very much loved.
